The intervention made it possible to create new living spaces by rethinking the exterior aesthetics of the house and integrating it harmoniously into its natural context. The horizontally laid timber cladding takes traditional local building techniques and reinterprets them in a modern key. A balance between past and present that gives the house a strong bond with its surroundings. Finally, the large windows offer magnificent views and create a direct connection between the interior and the surrounding landscape, creating a constant dialogue with nature. The project paid particular attention to the study of construction details, with a specific focus on the relationship between stone and wood. The stone plinth, used at ground level, follows the natural slope of the site, creating a horizontal plane that stabilises the building and defines its base.
